Angkor Wat International Half Marathon Moves to 2 January

Siem Reap: The 26th Angkor Wat International Half Marathon has been postponed to 2 January, 2022 from previously announced 19 December, 2021 by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC).

The application of the safety measures by the Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is a must, during the event. Only vaccinated against Covid-19 participants, both local and international runners, are allowed to register.

More than 10,000 national and international runners from many countries have participated in 2019 Angkor Wat International Half Marathon. But in 2020 the sport event was held virtually due to COVID-19. Cambodia has hosted the event since 1996, not only to promote sports and good health, but also to mobilize funding for humanitarian activities.
